Ok, what can I say. There was this heinous purse on You Knit What.com. Several of the ladies suggested that the um, bobbles, looked like alien eyes. The other suggestions weren't that clean, but were highly appropriate. Anyway, then I start seeing this purse like it could be. Artists are highly visual you see. And just weird enough to spend some quicky time in Photoshop to share the...joy. Or...whatever. I give you, the Fugly Alien Eye Purse. And now, I apologize. But I'm still snickering under my breath!

The original purse was something to make you scream and run, but yours has personality and a great sense of fun. I like it!
Yep, now all it needs is some "eyelash" yarn, {snicker}!
The world is grateful that I could never learn to knit....
I love this purse - I'm just trying to understand how the eyeballs turn it from ordindary fug to wonderfully fugly.
I think the blood red squares help. The original just seemed unfinished somehow, it was just crying out for eyeballs I think. Like, maybe the eyes were there, but hidden, thus giving you an unknown creepy feeling, while this way you KNOW why you are creeped out!

Maybe add a touch of complementary bloodshot detailing to draw it all together?! And I do like the eyelash idea, tee hee.
I actually thought about drawing in some red eye, but then, I thought it might be a little over-the-top (Yeah, right!) But I did add that nice little gout of blood gushing from the purse in the right hand corner. What's in that dang thing anyway?
